2. Browser Local Storage
If you calibrate your physical screen ruler, your calibration preference (CSS pixels per inch) is stored locally on your device in browser localStorage under the key fence_calc_ruler_calibration_v2. This data never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time by clicking "Reset to Default" in the calibration modal, or clearing your browser's site data for this domain.
Your selected theme preference (light/dark mode) is stored under the key theme. Again, this is purely local and never transmitted.
3. Cookies
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies that collect personal data. Standard browser session behavior applies, but no cookie banner is needed because we do not use cookies for tracking or profiling.
4. Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics (such as aggregated server-side access logs or a compliant tool like Plausible Analytics) to understand general traffic patterns â e.g., which pages are visited most, what country visitors are from (country-level only), and what browser/device types are used.
